“Survival of the fittest" is not a term invented by Darwin and is NOT the same as the theory of "Natural Selection".

Natural Selection: Theory put forward by Charles Darwin, English naturalist 12 February 1809 – 19 April 1882). This is the process by which animals retain good and survival traits and discard non survival traits through the generations. The survival traits depend entirely on the environmental conditions. The ones with the survival traits tend to survive and bred together, thus strengthening these survival traits.
The survival of the fittest: A theory developed by Herbert Spencer (27 April 1820 – 8 December 1903) an English Philosopher in his Principles of Biology of 1864. It became very popular and was mistakenly adopted by Darwin in the 5th edition of “The Origin of the Species”.
Natural selection applies to animals. It only applies partially to man, as man is more than an animal.
The theory of “survival of the fittest” became very popular with the ruling classes at the time to justify the slave trade, colonialism, and the superiority of the white man. Later it was used to develop eugenics and was adopted by Adolph Hitler resulting in the extermination of 6 million people from minority religions and ethnic groups considered inferior. It resulted in the deaths of 20 million people in the 2nd World War. It was adopted by the communists and resulted in the murder of another 20 million people in Russia, and an unknown number in China, some put the figure as high as 50 million.
Religion is often blamed for mass murder throughout history. It is true that many people died in the fanatical pursuit of religion but this had nothing to do with the religion itself. It was the manipulation of the religion and the thirst for power and to eliminate opposition and enemies. The amount of murder was somewhat tempered by a moral code, restraining man from even worse excesses.
Nazism and Communism abandoned religion and the moral code associated with this. They regarded man as just an animal and took it upon themselves to out down what they considered to be the weaker animals, like putting down a deformed calf.
Survival of the fittest was the only moral code and eugenics was the religion for these people and they murdered with religious zeal.
As a result ten times more people were killed in the 20th Century than in the entire rest of history in the name of the new religions of “natural selection” and “eugenics”.
There is no scientific evidence whatsoever to support a genetic link for behavior and “mental illness”. Therefore natural selection cannot be applied to all aspects of man.
Man became dominant on this planet because he is more than an animal. It was more than his weapons, it was thought, reason, kindness and mercy that also played a part. These are unique to man.
Although man has animal urges it is his ability to reason and overcome these that makes him dominant.
The theory of natural selection is still favoured by the political elite and powerful throughout the world. The excesses of the Nazis and communists have made it impossible to pursue this for the moment but they wait for their time to come.

Neither system works, stupid!
I was watching a documentary on the TV 2 or 3 days ago. It never ceases to amaze me that the most insightful statements usually come from the ordinary man in the street.
The documentary was covering the rise and fall of communism. An ordinary looking guy was interviewed at some fair or car boot sale or some such. He said something like “You know communism never worked, but we discovered also that capitalism doesn’t work either, its better, but it doesn’t really work too well”.
The trouble is that capitalism and communism are two opposing philosophies that achieve the same deadbeat result.
Communism rewards everybody the same despite variations in work ethic, skills and ingenuity. This system falls down because there is no incentive to work hard. Therefore no-one bothers or, with a few exceptions, are made to work at the point of the gun.
Capitalism allows someone to earn massive amounts of money doing very little, and the rest of us scrape by. It also survives on the slavery of the people in other countries. While the capitalist country enjoys the wealth, people in Thailand, and the Philippines work for very little and very few employee rights. Even the fastest growing economy in the world, China, the workers are paid next to nothing.
So the truth is Communism doesn’t work at all, and never did. Capitalism works on an “I’m alright Jack” basis if you are prepared to ignore the wretched conditions people work in to keep it propped up.
There are better systems that do work, will cover that tomorrow. This is the end of my thought for today.

Introducing my new website
Dear All,
I want to introduce you to my new website:
http://interesting-website.com
This is not a high tech website, it is the written content that may be of interest. You may not be entertained by lots of graphics, movies and fancy flash banners but this is not what it is for.
This website is for people who like to read and think. This may sound like quite a simple and obvious statement, but the fact is a lot of people do not- read and think that is!
On the website are essays by myself, you may or may not aree with what I say. I have strong views on health and the health industry, politics, individual freedom, religion and religious freedom, drugs, morality and education. I will be writing a daily blog here, these will also be posted on my website.
In order to continue doing what I love, which is writing, I am also writing a fiction novel, the entire subscription, currently costing £5.99 covers 20-25 episode averaging 30 pages each, plus a free HTML E-book at the end with the complete work. If you buy the HTML E-Book when released without subscribing, it will cost more. Hopefully this will finance myself and other activities I am involved in which you will also find interesting. I haven't decided yet whether to talk about these on my blogs.
In my daily blogs I will be writing aboiut whatever catches my eye and interests me, but mainly I will be exp;osing BS that is fed to the population on a daily basis. You should be prepared possibly to be surprised, shocked and maybe even angry at me. Thats perfeectly fine, good writing always evokes a response.
Some of my fiction may seem a little wierd, like I have an active imagination, but it is all based on fact. I promise you that I have been places, done things, and met people that give me a different take on things . Some people wont be able to read my writing easily, or simply wont understand, as there are some people who are so completely hypnotised they dont get it.
I hope you will visit my website, I am adding content quite rapidly and the first episode of my fiction work is available now. I hope you subscribe so I can continue doing what I love doing. Also, please use the "contact us" page for comments. If I get a lot of response I'll add a forum, providing you are not a complete idiot and I will always post opposing views on the website.
So I hope you pay me a visit and like what you see.
